Davis Tool & Die performs high speed machining on hardened cavity blocks and electrodes on our 20 CNC Milling Machines. Many of these machines employ the latest processors, liquid cooled spindles, liquid cooled ball screws, and other advanced features.
Our six CNC EDM machines, five Ram and one Wire, have tank sizes up to 19.7″ x 37.4″ x 57″
We can lift up to 20,000 pounds and build dies that run on die cast machines with a capacity of up to 2,500 tons.
Our machining operations include:
- Simultaneous 5 axis machining capability with a maximum work envelope of 50 inches cubed and a load capacity of 5,500 pounds
- High speed vertical machining centers with 20,000 rpm spindles and 40 x 20 work envelopes
- Horizontal machining centers with 10,000 rpm spindles and 40 x 50 work envelope
- Horizontal boring mills have a maximum working envelope of 98.4” x 78.7″ x 59.0″ and can accommodate work pieces weighing as much as 22,000 pounds.
